Use this for offset math
This calculator is useful when you already know the UTC offsets, such as UTC+1 and UTC-5. It shows the hour gap between those offsets.
Example
UTC+1 to UTC-5 is a 6-hour difference. If it is 15:00 at UTC+1, the matching time at UTC-5 is 09:00.
Common mistakes
Do not assume a city always keeps the same UTC offset all year. Daylight saving time can change the offset by date.

Some places change offsets seasonally and others do not. A numeric offset calculator cannot know those transition rules, so check local time-zone names when scheduling a real meeting or deadline.
