Corrections

Correction Policy

Calculator mistakes can affect user decisions, so reported errors are reviewed and corrected clearly.

What can be corrected

Corrections may involve formula errors, calculation bugs, unclear labels, missing assumptions, outdated references, broken links, accessibility issues or wording that overstates what a result means.

How to report an issue

When reporting an issue, include the page URL, the input values used, the result shown, the expected result and any source or calculation that supports the correction. Please avoid sending sensitive personal, health, financial or legal details.

Who reviews corrections

Vikhagen Online Services is responsible for reviewing correction reports. The review may involve checking the formula, comparing the page against its stated method, verifying sources and testing the calculator with the reported inputs.

How corrections are prioritized

Issues involving health, pregnancy, finance, tax, legal, retirement or safety-related pages are prioritized because incorrect or unclear results may carry higher risk. Bugs that break a calculator or create misleading results are also prioritized.

Response timing

CalcMentor does not promise a fixed response time for every report. The goal is to review serious calculator errors as soon as practical, especially when a page may mislead users on a sensitive topic. Lower-risk wording suggestions, feature requests and general improvements may be handled during later review cycles.

What happens after a fix

A correction can lead to a formula update, clearer labels, stronger warnings, a source refresh, a broken-link fix or a new test case. The goal is not only to patch the reported page, but to reduce the chance of the same issue appearing elsewhere.

Transparency

When a meaningful correction changes how a calculator works or how a sensitive result is explained, the page is re-reviewed and the documentation reflects the change.
