Use a password manager
Long, unique passwords are strongest when stored in a reputable password manager. This generator is useful for quick local generation, but account recovery, phishing resistance and multi-factor authentication also matter.
Example
A 16-character password using uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols has far more possible combinations than an 8-character password from letters only. Length usually improves resistance faster than making a short password complicated.
Common mistakes
Do not reuse generated passwords across accounts. Avoid copying a password into shared notes, chat messages or unencrypted documents.
Limitations
For high-security use, prefer a vetted password manager or operating-system generator with cryptographic randomness. A password alone does not protect against phishing or device compromise.
