For 2,200 calories with 50% from carbohydrate, carbohydrate calories are 1,100. At 4 kcal per gram, that equals 275 grams per day.
Common mistakes
Do not confuse total carbohydrate grams with sugar grams. Food labels, fiber, added sugar and medical targets may require more detail than this calculator uses.
