GPA Calculator

Calculate weighted GPA from course credits and grade points. You can enter numeric grade points or common A-F letter grades, but check your institution's scale before relying on the result.

Formula

Weighted GPA = sum of grade points x credits divided by total credits. Letter grades use a common 4.0 mapping; exact school policies can differ.

Example

Enter one course per line, such as Math,3,A or History,4,3.3. The calculator multiplies each course's grade points by credits and divides by total credits.

Grade input options

You can enter common A-F letter grades or numeric grade points. Use numeric points when your school has a specific grading table, because honors weighting, plus/minus rules and repeated-course policies can change the official result.

Limitations

Schools can use different grade scales, weighting rules, repeated-course policies and rounding rules. Enter the exact grade points from your institution when precision matters.
