Method
In metric mode, fuel used = distance x L/100 km / 100. In imperial mode, fuel used = distance / MPG. Total cost = fuel used x fuel price.
Example
A 250 km trip at 6.5 L/100 km uses 16.25 liters. At 2.00 per liter, estimated fuel cost is 32.50.
Common mistakes
Do not mix MPG with L/100 km. Make sure fuel price matches the selected unit system and local currency.
Assumptions
The calculator uses the fuel price and efficiency you enter. It does not fetch current fuel prices or official vehicle-specific ratings. Real consumption can change with speed, traffic, weather, cargo and driving style.
