Education planning calculator

College Cost Calculator

Project future study cost from current annual cost, cost inflation, grants and savings.

Use local and institution-specific numbers

Education costs vary by country, institution, program, housing, currency and aid rules. This calculator uses your assumptions only and does not fetch official tuition, living-cost or financial-aid data.

Example

A current annual cost of 25,000 growing at 4% for 8 years becomes about 34,211 in the first study year. Four years of study, grants and current savings then determine the projected funding gap.

Common mistakes

Do not include grants twice. If a scholarship reduces annual cost directly, either lower the annual cost input or enter it as grants, but avoid doing both.

Limitations

The result is not a financial-aid estimate. It does not know tuition caps, exchange rates, housing markets, loan terms, tax benefits, scholarships or country-specific education rules.
